He is responsible for the sound financial management and drawing up, development and implementation of his sector\u2019s strategic plan. He also acts as a consultant to the general management, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending the most appropriate IT solutions. He is responsible for security management for the various information systems, the establishment of good management practices, and the integration of technological development projects with a global vision in line with the Fondation\u2019s strategic goals. He supervises a team of six people.<\/p>\n

Previously, \u00c9ric had worked at Tourisme Montr\u00e9al for 11 years, promoting the metropolis. He served as its finance and administration manager for five years, before being promoted to the position of assistant director \u2013 finance and administration, in June 2012. In addition to ensuring the organization\u2019s sound financial management, he was called to assist its senior management in matters involving governance, and participated in the internal audit committee. He was responsible for supervising employees in accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and administrative support.<\/p>\n

In 2016, he participated in a first humanitarian mission with CPA Without Borders, in cooperation with Terre sans fronti\u00e8res (Earth Without Borders), with a Haitian community of nuns known as the Soeurs de la Charit\u00e9 Saint-Louis. \u00c9ric helped the congregation to adopt healthy and efficient accounting practices. He contributed to the development and shaping of the accounting skills of the staff in charge of accounting for all the establishments under their responsibility. He was involved in the recruitment of new cooperants with Terre sans fronti\u00e8res in the pursuit of that mission. He was able to create links with the Sisters, which allowed him to return there in 2018 to act as resource-person for four accounting students from the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Trois-Rivi\u00e8res who were carrying out the mission with the community.<\/p>\n
